THIS PATTERN PIECE IS REMOVED FROM THE PATTERN
COMPLETELY
2. SCALE - 1 + X / 2
REDRAW THIS PATTERN PIECE IN THE SAME SHAPE BUT TO
THE SCALE OF 1 + X / 2 (THIS STEP DOES NOT WORK FOR
UPCYCLING
3. REPOSITION - SWAP WITH X
MOVE THE PATTERN PIECE TO THE POSITION OF PIECE X IN

PIECE TO THE CENTRE OF SIDE X, THIS SHAPE IS THE NEW
PATTERN PIECE, SECURE THE FOLD - USER CHOICE TO HAVE
FOLDED PART ON THE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE OF THE GARMENT
RENUMBER SIDES HERE TO ACCOUNT FOR NEW SHAPE
5. PLEAT - X CM PLEAT IN THE CENTRE OF SIDE X
SECURE A PLEAT X CM WIDE IN THE CENTRE OF THE NEW
SIDE X - DIRECTION OF PLEATE IS USER CHOICE
6. SEW 1 TO - CLOSEST SIDE X
USING THE LAY OUT CREATED IN STEP 2, FIND THE CLOSEST
SIDE X TO SIDE 1 OF THIS PATTERN PIECE AND SECURE
TOGETHER, DO NO SEW TO A SIDE ALREADY USED BY A
PREVIOUS PATTERN PIECE, PLEAT OR GATHER THE SIDES SO
THE FULL LENGTH OF BOTH FITS TOGETHER
7. SEW 1 TO - CLOSEST X
